Dollar a Month Club

Think about it if enough people join our Dollar a Month Club the services and resources that we can provide for the estimated 1.5 homeless youth walking the streets of our U.S. cities.

For a total donation of $!2.00 annually.

This will include a quarterly e-mail update on the Invisible Youth Network and it's programs and projects as well as, an annual Community Service Award Certificate.

To join please e-mail the Invisible Youth Network at:

Haiti

Due to a recent report on KUSI News in San Diego, California via CNN, announcing that the government of Haiti was charging non-profit organizations a tax to donate anything to it's people, IYN is at this time reviewing how we may continue to be of aid. Any donation recieved for now, Designated for Haiti, will be held until the Haiti Government, removes this tax.

Alternately we may direct these funds to an organization that is working on the ground in Haiti in line with our mission, so the full effect of Your donations are felt at least in the form of Resourse on the ground.

McDonald's Cards

A $10.00 donation will purchase two McDonald's cards and feed two homeless kids, and they can eat decently off of the value menu.

Youth Drop-in Center

This will be a combined shelter and drop-in center for homeless and at-high-risk youth. We will provide food (lunch, dinner, and snacks), showers, laundry facilities, clothing, hygiene items, phone, individual assistance (in conjunction with the business, professional and religious communities) -- a safe place for homeless and at-high-risk youth to hang out, and receive needed help and services.

It will be one of many on the drawing board; the first one will be located in San Diego, California, where there is an estimated 4,000 homeless youth walking the streets on any given day.

The center's mission will be:

To provide a safe and supportive environment where homeless or at-risk youths will have their immediate needs addressed and where they will have access to resources which will help them develop the life skills necessary to become a responsible and productive community member.

Homelessness is more than a lack of shelter and represents the visible fault line transmitted by multiple traumatic forces. Each child bears a unique story of pain, often unspeakable and typically faces a harsh and almost unimaginable existence within the community.

These young people have been failed by the adults and the systems that were supposed to protect them. We can't undo their histories, but we can help homeless children shape a healthy future by lifting them out of the downward spiral of the streets.

At Invisible Youth Network, we engage youth experiencing homelessness who needs safety from the streets and access to resources to help them move from street life and into healthy functioning and independence through our programs and resources.

Your donation can change the lives of these kids.

These are our kids, our future.
